Weeknotes: 2022, week 34

[22–28 Aug]

We spent the week at my parents' in Granada, where we also met my uncle and aunt. Our friends and neighbours in Madrid C. and her parents were in Granada in those days too, and so we invited them home one afternoon, and we enjoyed the sun and had coffee and pastries while the kids played in the swimming pool. That is the life!

My wife and I took the opportunity a couple of times to leave the kids with their grandpa and grandma and go do something on our own. One night we had a wonderful dinner together in Granada city, in the open air, right opposite the Alhambra, at one of those fancy cármenes with amazing views.

On Saturday we both went to see Izal live in Loja. It was our first concert in ages, and it felt great and weird.

And on Sunday the four of us went to Almuñécar in the coast to meet our friend J.A. and his little daughters.
